Our New Fun Toy

Busy Busy Busy

Tavin and I have been non stop, which is awesome I love it that way. We work 5 hours a day 6 days a week. I say "we" because he comes with and probably gets more done then me.

This leaves all of our fun activities for the morning. We do JW Tumblers on Tuesday and Thursday and we also swim these days. Our shopping is done on Mondays and Cleaning on Saturday. Fun stuff.

Our trip to Costco with Logan:) We go once a week I love Costco.

Just so cute how he holds on all the time, I must be a crazy cart driver.

Tavin update

We have started our solid food journey. My son is now 5 months and he loves loves loves to eat. Well anything but oatmeal. He is getting plenty of food now and sleeping through the night again. My milk alone was just not cutting it any more for my growing boy. He loves Avocados, which is great!!! So 2 times every day he nurses and eats these bad boys.

The Beautiful thing about living in San Diego is we get these straight from my friends tree:) We do not have to worry about any weird pesticides or what not.

Easter is coming:) I am so excited!!! So the easter bunny is bringing Tavin this awesome personalized Blue easter basket.... I still have mine from when I was young.

Family

My family rocks. I have the greatest brothers anyone could ask for. My older brother is wonderful, he helps and supports me constantly and is so successful, at a very young age. My dad did us well we are both very independent and love our family so much. My younger brothers are my world I love seeing them and I miss them every day, I love San Diego but I hate being 5 hours away from my little guys. Not to mention my cousins are super awesome and we keep in close contact which is cool cause not many people can say that. I also have the greatest husband and son. We just started our own family and there couldn't be more love and support in my life.

My job also rocks. I am on my way to doing what I love and we are very fortunate. My boss is so awesome she supports us, pays me way to much, and always values my opinions. And she lets me bring my son to work. I am so lucky, super happy, and I love all my friends and family. I love hard and give a lot and keep only those who are true close to me. (I don't do the losing trust thing) I couldn't be more blessed with those around me and I couldn't be happier. I love living a block from the beach and I love waking up to my husband knowing he will always be mine and I love my son. Thank you for all of those who have supported me and been truly amazing. I love you all. I just couldn't be happier and I wish the same for all of you.

Teething

We have a drool master on our hands along with some fussy out bursts. Well It is around that time for teeth to come in and I cant wait to see him with some teeth. I have a feeling his first tooth wont come for another month or so. But here is what we use and they work great.

These teething tablets are all natural and dissolve in the mouth, This neckless has everyone thinking my son is a girl but the amber has made teething so far a breeze. He wears it all day and night and we don't seem to have any problems. I have heard horrible stories about teething and I think this neckless has helped us and we have not had much of a problem at all.

You know your kid is cute when people go out of their way to tell you so:) I love it:)

Baby Wise & Baby food

Baby Wise has done wonders for our family, Tavin started sleeping through the night at 6 weeks and is the easiest baby in the world. So many people always tell me I am so lucky, and yes I am, but we trained him and this book taught us how. If you don't like or agree with Baby Wise that is fine, although I swear by it, I call it my parenting manual.

Recently we have been having problems with Tavin sleeping though the night, so I finally opened up my Baby Wise book number 2 and sure enough the first chapter called out the problem we were having a gave us the solutions. Wow how does it do it? No idea but I love it. Tavin is growing fast and we have not been good about introducing solid foods.( It is so much easier to just pull out a breast no matter where you are then having to get him all set up and feed with a spoon) But we are getting down and dirty and staying serious for our little one.

Since Tavin is allergic to rice cereal we have been procrastinating other options. Today we pulled out our baby food making books. (We live on books and being educated and we also are making our own baby food from our garden out back). We found that we can make our own rice cereal. Once we introduce this for 2 weeks and he is eating cereal for 3 meals a day along with nursing we can introduce vegetables.

So here we are today is the big day where we begin, and I am so wishing my kiddo sleeps through the night.
