Weekend Exhaustion

Tavin and I had our very first United States Swim School Association Conference.

We drove up to L.A., Newport and took an amazing class about infant/toddler swimming. Tavin got to demonstrate a ton of the awesome skills and for the first time ever floated all by himself! I was a very proud mommy and everyone was so fascinated by his great skill. I hope to have a video of this all soon.

We are so tired today from all the swimming and excitement. We had such a blast and will be attending our next conference in Orlando Florida in October which will be Tavin's first birthday.

Well spending his first birthday at Disney World wont be so bad.

GROUPON

I love love love GROUPON!

I bought Tavin's JW Tumblers classes, 3 photo books, tons of restaurant cards, spa services, wine and so much more from groupon. Everything is at least 50% off, I love finding great deals and having fun experiences. It gives me awesome ideas on what to do with my little guy at great prices. Today I got 5 baby genesis C.D's and 5 DVD's for 25 bucks, not bad.

JW Tumblers

We had our first JW Tumblers class yesterday, and it was so much fun. If you have a JW Tumblers in your area you should check it out. I had no clue Tavin was even able to do so many of the things they did with him. He was laughing, smiling and flirting the whole time. I have to keep reminding my self he is only 4 months and is already so big. He is so strong and very good at sitting up, its from all the swimming, it has made him super strong and coordinated.

Big Flirt

Who would have thought he knew how to ride a rocking horse? We have this same thing in storage, well we are pulling it out because he loved it and rocked all by him self. (Im such a proud mommy)

Visit one if you have kids, they are a blast. Plus he slept so good after, its so worth it.

Reality

We love two reality shows, The Biggest Loser and The Bachelor. Well I love them and Tyler has learned to love them.

I hope Emily wins, Not only because she is the cutest and sweetest thing ever but also because she is friends with my boss. I want her to have a happy ending, I couldn't imagine what she has gone through.

He has nothing on my man:)

Life

I am doing homework, laundry and super overloaded, I look over and what do I see.... my husband and baby sleeping so soundly... Must be nice.

Bums, I call them.

Oatmeal

Tavin did not do well with Rice Cereal so Dr. Gee-Lou (the greatest) said try oatmeal. Well this is how it went, so i don't think we will be doing this either. It is so, gross I tried it too and my face looked worse then his.

Yoga

I have been doing Bikram Yoga, it is so hard but I am slowly getting better. After having a c-section it is not a fun recovery and although I have lost all my pregnancy weight i still want to lose more. This is doing it. If you have done it you know it takes so much concentration and after you feel magnificent. My wonderful husband got me 50 classes for Christmas, so I have been busy.

Jeans

My love for Jeans. True Religion, Joey, Seven's, Lucky, Hudson, William Rost.

I love Jeans, I have become picky. I only buy these types of jeans now, I have been spoiled with them and will never look back.

My girlfriend Jessica came to visit so we went out to the comedy palace and laughed a lot. So much fun. I love getting all cute. It doesn't happen much because I am always so busy and always have spit up down the front or back of my outfit.

My wishlist

I keep begging and begging, Its for the safety of my son, and the convenience of having 2 cars we can put a car-seat in. We cant put a car-seat in the truck.

Tavin

My sons name is pronounced Tay-Vin. So many people say it like Gavin but with a "T". Well its German so its a little different. We should have spelt it different. But just so everyone knows, Its my pet peeve.

I miss these people

My mom and Stepdad, They are amazing and give me and Tyler so much support. They are also tons of fun. She gave Tavin that awesome ball he is playing with (in an earlier post) it is his absolute favorite.

Our Current Life

We have been super busy with life. We are both going to school and working very hard. I take Tavin to the pool with me and he loves it. All the customers love to see him, I have built in babysitters.

For Valentines Day Tyler and I got to go out, Heather (my savior) watched him. We had so much fun and so did Tavin. Im a crazy mom and I don't trust many people to watch my little guy but I felt so safe the whole night because I knew he was in great hands. She also gives Tavin the cutest clothes. I will post pictures soon.

SO BIG
